Join us on Wednesday, July 8th from 6-8 pm for a calm, creative evening exploring watercolor through the soft, flowing forms of jellyfish.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to watercolor—touching on its history, a few surprising details, and how the medium behaves on the page. Along the way, we’ll consider the “immortal jellyfish,” a creature that can return to an earlier stage of life—a small, real-world reminder that transformation isn’t always linear. From there, you will be guided you step-by-step through painting three luminous jellyfish, focusing on movement, transparency, and letting the water and pigment work together in natural, expressive ways.
This workshop is designed to be accessible for beginners while still offering something meaningful for those with more experience. The goal isn’t perfection, but presence—slowing down, experimenting, and discovering what happens when you allow the process to unfold.
