Listen to Your Intuition: A Painting & Writing Workshop:
Join us on Sunday, March 2nd for this unique combination workshop involving abstract painting and writing. No experience in either is required! This personal exploration is open to all levels.
In this session led by author Sheila Squillante, you will use the tools of writers and visual artists to create dynamic, original artworks made of acrylic paint and of words. You will be given a choice of evocative titles related to themes of intuition and personal transformation to first prompt you toward an abstract painting of your making, and then into a piece of writing. We will first spend 15 minutes in free writing that begins when you read and consider your title. What colors does it make you think of? What shapes? What kind of energy does it have? Calm? Frantic? Angry? Is there a story…
