The Art of Pierogi
Join us for a hands-on pierogi workshop where you’ll learn the art of making traditional Polish pierogi from scratch—a beloved comfort food passed down through generations in homes across Poland.
Guided by instructor Marta Nutini, you’ll learn how to prepare tender pierogi dough and a classic filling of potato, farmer’s cheese, and onion. From there, you’ll roll, cut, fill, and hand-shape your pierogi using traditional pinching and sealing techniques that give each one its signature handmade character.
Each participant will make about a dozen pierogi, which we’ll cook together to enjoy fresh or pack up to take home. Along the way, Marta will share the history and cultural traditions behind this iconic dish, along with practical tips for storing, freezing, and reheating your pierogi so you can enjoy them later.
